Hi, I’m Joshua Avery Foster IV — a husband, father, and leader whose life has been shaped by faith, family, and resilience. I’m blessed to share life with my wife, Macallia, and together we are raising three wonderful children: Miyah Avery, Julian Avery V, and Kiyah Tina. Out of all the titles I’ve carried, “dad” is the one I treasure most.

My journey has taken me from Enloe High School, where I was active in Student Council, Gospel Choir, and Jazz Band, to building a career in Human Resources and leadership, overseeing operations for more than 150 retail store locations and serving in management with Walmart. Along the way, I’ve faced trials — including a decade-long battle with Crohn’s disease — but through God’s strength and the love of my family, I came through with a powerful testimony of perseverance and hope.

At the core of who I am is a simple conviction: “I want to be known for what I am for, and not just for what I am against.” That principle guides how I love my family, lead others, and walk through every season of life.
