My Calling

God placed a desire in my heart to serve Him at a young age. At just eight years old, I began serving alongside Evangelist David Medlin as Vice President of the Music Department at Fellowship Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. I wasn’t just observing — I was working hands-on with equipment setup, service direction, and playing the keyboard. Those early years taught me the importance of responsibility, discipline, and serving with humility. Looking back, I can clearly see how God used those experiences to prepare me for greater ministry in years to come.

In 2010, I stepped into the role of Minister of Music under the leadership of my pastor, Senior Pastor Avery Foster Sr. With a vision to strengthen and expand the department, I introduced structure, excellence, and growth. Out of this effort was born the TDS Praise Team, which became a recognized and respected ministry in the community. Under my leadership, the music department expanded beyond the walls of the church, ministering at rest homes, revivals, concerts, and community events. For over 15 years, I’ve witnessed firsthand the power of music to open hearts, heal spirits, and usher people into the presence of God. Through it all, I have strived to stay humble, always remembering that every gift and every opportunity comes from the Lord.

Youth & Community Ministry

My calling has never been limited to the sanctuary. I have always believed in the importance of investing in the next generation, not only spiritually but also practically. Out of this conviction, I founded The Divine Spirituals Youth Organization, a nonprofit designed to mentor, equip, and uplift at-risk youth.

Through mentorship programs, workshops, and outreach efforts, we provided meals, leadership opportunities, and practical support. This work gave young people both encouragement and accountability, helping them to grow into leaders within the church and community. The Divine Spirituals Youth Organization remains one of the ministries closest to my heart because it reflects my passion for seeing young people rise above their challenges and step into their God-given purpose. In all of this, I strive to remain humble, knowing that I am only a vessel God uses to bless others.

Pastoral & Evangelistic Service

Recognized by my pastor and church leadership as one called to serve in pastoral ministry, I was entrusted with roles of greater responsibility. I have served faithfully as both an Evangelist and an Associate Pastor at Fellowship Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Garner, NC.

In these capacities, I have:

  • Preached the Gospel across churches, revivals, and conferences with messages centered on holiness, faith, and the fruits of the Spirit.

  • Led corporate prayer that stirred unity, breakthrough, and renewal among God’s people.

  • Officiated weddings, walking alongside couples as they entered covenant under God.

  • Ministered at funerals, bringing comfort and hope through the Word of God during times of loss.

  • Provided pastoral care, counseling, and mentorship for individuals and families.

  • Helped oversee church operations, ensuring order, excellence, and faithfulness to the mission of the church.

My preaching has often been described as both convicting and compassionate. I seek to challenge believers to deeper commitment while also encouraging those who are weary. Above all, I strive to remain humble in every opportunity I am given to serve, never forgetting that the glory belongs to God and not to me. I also give credit to the great staff and team of leaders who serve alongside me. Their faithfulness and dedication make it possible for ministry to continue flowing smoothly at home while I am on the road.

My Conviction in Ministry

At the center of my ministry is a guiding conviction:
“I want to be known for what I am for, and not just for what I am against.”

I stand for holiness because without holiness no man shall see the Lord.
I stand for faith because it is the foundation of our walk with Christ.
I stand for family because strong families build strong churches and communities.
I stand for service because ministry is about giving, not taking.

Whether I am behind a pulpit, sitting with a family in need, training young leaders, or ministering through music, my mission is to glorify Jesus Christ and strengthen His people. And in everything I do, I strive to stay humble, giving all credit to God and honoring the dedicated staff who help carry the vision forward.
